Took the Intro to Letterpress class at the Independent Printing Resource Center a few weeks ago and now I have all that type to play with.

For my first project I wanted something quick that would move me the process quickly, in this case about a week.

Project Notes:

Typesetting: Saturday, July 1, 2023 12pm–1pm
Printing: Friday, July 8, 2023 12pm–3pm

Fonts: 24pt Futura, 36pt Futura, star ornaments

Ink: Old ass cool grey in a can that actually worked out ok. First time using a rubber-based ink. Took a long time to dry and when I stacked my prints, it left ink on the back, which then transferred to the fronts, grrr.

Paper: package of 100 index cards
